Train a Health professional on the Ponseti Method in developing country

As part of the RUNFREE 2030 Strategy we want to deliver the course to as many heal professionals as possible in order to train them on the Ponseti Method. The Africa Clubfoot Training (ACT) Project was piloted from 2015-7 and has strengthened training and delivery capacity for Ponseti clubfoot treatment in sub-Saharan Africa and supports existing clubfoot treatment programmes through training a new cadre of national clubfoot trainers in 18 countries. The UK Clubfoot Consensus Group reviewed course materials and advised on the scientific and clinical content. A team of UK NHS, Ethiopian and regional African trainers (including orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists and clinical officers) designed and developed training materials for a standardized clubfoot provider and instructor course; Level 1 (Basic) and Level 2 (Advanced) Clubfoot Treatment Provider Courses, and a Clubfoot Train the Trainer Course (TTT). The Training has been accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons
